This clinic aims to improve athlete’s fundamental skills in order for them to achieve their personal best in pool rescue competition and to support the growth of pool rescue competition in NSW.
The clinic will be conducted by some of Australia’s leading Pool Rescue Coaches and Officials including Surf Life Saving Australia’s National Pool Rescue Coach, Russell Green and the Australian Pool Rescue Championships Referee, Don Van Keimpema.
The Clinic will be held at Southern Cross University, Lismore on Saturday 18 May and aims to improve athlete’s fundamental skills in order for them to achieve their personal best in pool rescue competition. The clinic will be split into 3 different groups according to the nomination as follows:
The Clinic is in conjunction with the Far North Coast Pool Branch Championships which are to be held on Sunday 19 May 2013. SLSNSW is also calling for interested accredited coaches and officials to develop a better understanding of the rules and to gain coaching skills to further develop pool rescue completion at all levels.
