2014 Lifesaving Exchange Participants Selected

SLSNSW will run its annual Lifesaving Exchange Program from 24-27 January 2014 and successful applicants have now been chosen.

The Lifesaving Exchange program has been designed to provide an 'urban' patrolling experience for young Patrol Captains from country branches by rostering them on busy Sydney city patrols such as Bondi, Coogee and Maroubra over a weekend in January 2014.

Similarly members from Sydney, Sydney Northern Beaches and Central Coast Branches are provided with a regional lifesaving experience and will visit Byron Bay, Ballina and Lennox Head.

The purpose of the exchange is to expose talented lifesavers to the way clubs are run in different areas of the state. Through the exchange, participants are also exposed to the different Support Services that the Branches have to offer - such as the Offshore Rescue Boat, Ballina Jet Boat and the Westpac Lifesaver Helicopter.

Congratulations to the successful participants!
