Campaign To Keep Litter Off NSW Beaches

This summer, let’s keep our beaches beautiful and litter-free!

Keep NSW Beautiful is taking a stand against litter this summer with their new initiative, Take the Pledge, by getting as many people as they can to promise:

“I pledge to keep New South Wales beautiful by not littering.”

We support this great campaign and encourage you ALL to take 30 seconds to Take the Pledge online now at

The campaign will take to the beaches on Saturday 1 November for the first annual Take the Pledge Day, when volunteers gather on beaches along the entire NSW coast to get beachgoers, locals and tourists to Take the Pledge then and there.

Volunteers are needed for Take the Pledge Day 2014!

Give just 2 hours at your local beach collecting pledges before enjoying a day at the seaside, knowing your efforts are helping it stay pristine and beautiful for others to appreciate now and for years to come.

So get your friends or family together, or meet some like-minded people and have a fun day out volunteering for a good cause. You’ll also get a Take the Pledge t-shirt and the chance to enter a media competition on the day.

Volunteers should register by October 14th at
