I enjoy being able to help the community and meet new people.

How has your training been going for the Country Championships?

It has been going great! I have been keeping my swim fitness up and training more in the surf rather than flat water as you never know what the conditions are going to be like at a competition.

What are your goals for the Championships and the rest of the season?

My main goal is to have fun and be in the top 10 in every event.

Do you have any pre-event superstitions or preparations?

I eat a lot of fruit before a race and do a lot of stretching.

What are you most looking forward to about Country Championships?

I love the atmosphere and being able to meet new people and talk to people about similar interests.

Are there any surf athletes you admire or have found to be an inspiration and why?

The athlete I admire most is Ky Hurst as he is genuine, likes to have a conversation, and gives good tips.
