Dee Why Lifesavers Rally Around Clubmate
Dee Why SLSC members were shocked to hear the son of one of their fellow clubmates, surfboat rower and sweep Steve Scott, was fighting for his life after an accident in the USA.
Rob Scott, 26, has been a long-time lifesaver, professional lifeguard and surfboat rower at Pacific Palms on the Lower North Coast. Father Steve has been by Rob's side since he was attacked in California two months ago. Rob has been transported from the US to Sydney and remains in a coma and on life support.
Lifesavers from Dee Why SLSC and other clubs on the Sydney Northern Beaches and beyond are working hard to support the Scott family and have organised an appeal for assistance from the surf life saving fraternity and the local community to help with the costs of medical treatment.
Rally for Robbo will be held on Friday 24 October at the Dee Why SLSC.
