IRB Premiership Postponed Due To Dangerous Surf

The finals for Round 2 of the 2014 NSW IRB Premiership Series were postponed over the weekend due to dangerous surf at Batemans Bay.

Competitors battled it out in challenging conditions for most of the day but with an increasing swell and rogue 2m waves rolling through, competition was called off for the day following the first final.

All finals from round 2 including the first final that ran at Batemans Bay will now be contested at Woonona when it hosts Round 4 of the Premiership on the 14-15th June.

Round 3 of the Premiership will still run as a standalone round at Terrigal on Saturday 7th June.
