NSW Emergency Services Volunteers Sought for Citizenship
The Department of Immigration wants to celebrate our lifesavers who are interested in becoming Australian Citizens.
The department is seeking interest from lifesavers who are permanent residents of Australia and may be interested in becoming an Australian Citizen to be part of a special ceremony to be held on Australia Day 2014.
The ceremony will celebrate the hard work our lifesavers do and welcome them to the family.
Interested individuals must:
- meet Australian citizenship legal requirements;
- interview and if required sit the Australian citizenship test within one to two weeks from today;
- be willing to travel to Sydney for a special ceremony on the 26 January 2014.
Limited positions for the ceremony are available and all expressions of interest must be received by 5pm Friday 6 December 2013.
For further information and to register your interest, contact the Sydney Citizenship Hotline on 02 8862 6715 and visit the Department of Immigration website.
