SLSNSW Honours New Life Members
Three Surf Life Saving NSW members have been recognised for a lifetime of volunteer service with Life Membership awards.
Graham Howard, affectionately known as Howie, of North Palm Beach SLSC, has contributed over 36 years of service to Surf Life Saving.
Throughout this time Howie has shown great leadership and strongly influenced the introduction of a number of important initiatives at North Palm Beach, Sydney Northern Beaches Branch and SLS NSW.
Howie has facilitated a variety of projects at both club branch state and National level and is to be congratulated on his excellence and extraordinary service to surf life saving.
Kerry Clancy of Sawtell SLSC is the current Deputy President of SLSNSW and has made both a distinguished and sustained contribution to the organisation during her 20 year membership.
At the recent North Coast Annual General Meeting, Kerry was elected Branch President for the twelfth consecutive year. Kerry has worked hard to unite the North Coast Branch and is particularly dedicated to embracing the educational progressions within the movement.
John Restuccia of Maroubra SLSC is the current Director of Lifesaving for SLSNSW and has been actively involved in the organisation for 29 years.
John has a lengthy involvement in lifesaving administration and competition at club, branch and state level. The achievements and positions held demonstrate John’s commitment to all levels of the organisation. John has given countless hours to Surf Life Saving and has shown distinguished service through his work to grow, improve and increase surf lifesaving across NSW.
