Surf Life Saving Wins Community Sports Volunteer Awards

Surf Life Saving members and organisations have picked up key awards at the 2014 Sport NSW Community Sports Volunteer Awards.

The awards provide an opportunity to celebrate the contribution made by volunteers in sport.

The Awards were presented at NSW Parliament House by the newly sworn-in Minister for Sport and Recreation, the Hon. Stuart Ayres MP.

The award recipients were:

Coach of the Year
Scott Bryant - (Caves Beach SLSC) - High Commendation

Minister's Sport Volunteer Management Awards:

District Sport Association
Hunter Branch - Category Winner
Central Coast Branch - High Commendation

Community Sport Club
Woonona SLSC - High Commendation

State Sporting Association
Surf Life Saving NSW - Category Winner
