SILVER MEDALLION BASIC BEACH MANAGEMENT

COURSE PURPOSE

The aim of this course is to provide participants with the skills, knowledge and experience to manage a beach in emergency and non emergency situations

PREREQUISITES

· Minimum 17 years of age

· Bronze Medallion/Cert II (not proficient is ok)

  AND be proficient in one of the following:  

· Surf Rescue Certificate OR

· Bronze Medallion OR

· Radio Operator Certificate OR

· Basic Emergency Care OR

· Resuscitation Certificate OR

· Siver Medallion Radio Controller OR

· Advanced Resuscitation Certificate OR

· Senior First Aid OR

· Defibrillation Certificate OR

· Spinal Management

·         Managing your beach and the public

·         Liaising with other organisations
