COURSES

SLSNSW are a Registered Training Organisation, and deliver a range of courses, both accredited and non accredited.

These are  a structured sequence of Vocational Education and Training that has been accredited and leads to an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) qualification or Statement of Attainment. The government have approved the program and training organisation to deliver that particular course. They are those courses delivered under the AQF, which provides a national framework for all education and training qualifications. • Cert II in Public Safety (Aquatic Rescue) /Bronze Medallion
  • Advanced Resuscitation Certificate
  • Defibrilation
  • Senior First Aid

In the future, plans are in place to also deliver the following courses, which will be accredited:

  • Cert III in Public Safety (Aquatic Search and Rescue) / Beach Management / Silver Medallion – currently under development
  • IRB Crew and Driver – currently under review
  • Spinal Management
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Coaching Level 1
  • Officiating Level 1

Non accredited courses

These are courses developed for a specific purpose or industry, where participants do not receive a formal assessment. Participants receive a Statement of Completion or Attendance only, and they are generally not recognised outside of the organisation within which they were delivered.
