28 March 2014 is Boardies Day - an opportunity for surf clubs and the wider community to get involved and raise vital funds for Surf Life Saving.
March 28 is the one day of the year when wearing your comfiest, trendiest or most hideous board shorts to work will not only be allowed but also applauded.
As Australia’s largest volunteer movement, Surf Life Saving will be asking all offices, schools and communities to roll up their fundraising sleeves this summer for the biggest Boardies Day campaign in history.
Online registrations have opened allowing Surf Clubs and participants to personalise a fundraising page and begin collecting now.
Once registered, you will be sent a Boardies Day fundraising pack and can begin planning your activities.
Visit the 2014 Boardies Day website to register and get involved.
