SUMMARY:Coffs Coast Ocean Swim
DESCRIPTION:The Coffs Coast Ocean Swim at Jetty Beach is a fun\, charity fundraising event for swimmers of all abilities. \nWith a 2km swim in and around the harbour\, a 600m swim around the jetty\, and a 300m swim for younger athletes\, the event caters for the novice to the more competitive. \nThe event is held in a beautiful protected harbour and the scenery speaks for itself. \nAfter your swim\, replenish your energy and check out some of the delicious cafes in the area or go and explore the beautiful sites Coffs has to offer.

SUMMARY:Club 2 Club Ocean Swim - Cape Hawke to Foster
DESCRIPTION:This Sundays Club 2 Club Ocean Swim has been cancelled. \nRepresentatives of Forster and Cape Hawke SLSC met in relation to our swims to be conducted on Sunday. \nDue to prevailing conditions with rain (WATER QUALITY) and waves forecast that operating a swim at Main Beach was not considered safe. We looked  at having swims at Cape Hawke SLSC -one mile beach however easterly swell and waves forecast was a high risk with a falling tide \nAll entries will roll over till next years event which is to be conducted 2 April 2023. \nWe understand the disappointment in the Ocean Swim fraternity that the swims have been cancelled – a decision that was not made lightly. \n

SUMMARY:Coogee Island Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The Coogee Island Challenge hosted by Coogee Surf Life Saving Club\, is an ocean swim event at Coogee Beach held every April & November that circumnavigates Wedding Cake Island. \nWe have 3 swims available starting with the 800m Junior Dash (10-12yrs)\, the 1km or the 2.4km Island Challenge Big Swim that circumnavigates Wedding Cake Island. If you can’t choose\, why not sign up for the 1 and 2.4km swims. \nOr what about entering as a team with a few friends? Enter a team of 4 or more\, male or female and in any of the 3 events on offer. \nWe have a HUGE number of prizes up for grabs – this includes CASH\, wet bags\, towels\, caps\, umbrella’s and prints. Prizes are for the 800m\, 1km & 2.4km events for 1st\, 2nd & 3rd placed elite category\, individuals (all 12 age groups) and teams!

SUMMARY:Caves Beach Ocean Swim
DESCRIPTION:“Commotion in the Ocean” is back and being held on Sunday 24th April 2022!! \nThe Caves Beach Ocean Swim is a 1.5km journey swim that takes swimmers from Spoon Rocks to Caves Beach. \nThe start at Spoon Rocks is a smooth entry into the water\, due to protection via the Mawson break wall\, with the swim then following a reef almost directly north towards Caves Beach\, passing cliff formations\, beaches\, and caves. \nNew this year also\, is a 500m swim for children aged 9 – 11 years\, that will take place in front of the surf club\, with swimmers looping around a set of buoys close to shore and surrounded by water safety. \nFor full event info and to enter click here.

SUMMARY:Terrigal Ocean Swim Classic
DESCRIPTION:The Terrigal Ocean Swim has been postponed to April 30\, due to recent poor weather. \nTerrigal Ocean Swim has established itself for over 10 years as an Easter Saturday swim taking place at the beautiful Terrigal Beach on the NSW’s Central Coast. It is an ideal event for open water swimmers of all abilities and ages. The swims include a 2km and 1km and competitors must be at least 10 years of age to take part. \n
