Surf Life Saving NSW is the state’s primary water safety and rescue organisation and one of the largest volunteer movements in the country. We support more than 76,000 members in 129 clubs to serve the community through the provision of beach patrol services, coastal emergency response, training and education, sports and junior development.

Reporting to and working closely with the Manager Corporate Services you will be responsible for the design and implementation of a functional and pragmatic enterprise risk management framework to ensure the organisation meets its regulatory requirements, addresses any key risks and ensure controls and processes are in place to mitigate these. You will have experience training staff in risk processes, maintaining risk registers, and preparing reports ideally for a Board. You will also manage the Work Health and Safety aspects of the organisation ensuring all stakeholders including the membership are well equipped to meet compliance requirements and legislation.

The right person for this role will have excellent interpersonal skills to be able to influence stakeholders at different levels of the organisation. To be suitable for this position you will need to have considerable risk and WHS management experience and have proven ability to operate in a change management environment. You will be proactive, adaptable and have a high level of problem solving and analytical skills.
