Our virtual Primary School programs provide an engaging, interactive and curriculum aligned session for your students. Upon registration, schools will receive a curriculum aligned activity booklet along with fun and educational downloadable resources and digital activity links for students.

For primary schools we currently run our 'Beach & Ocean Explorers Program' under which we have two separate live sessions: 'Creatures Big & Small' for K-2 and 'Myth Busters' for 3-6.

Our 'Beach & Ocean Explorers Program' is a virtual experience providing your students with opportunities to talk to a surf lifesaver and have lots of fun asking questions, learning how to identify hazards on our coastlines and how to stay safe at the beach.

Creatures Big & Small (K-2)

Come and explore the ocean and beach with a real lifesaver and learn about the amazing creatures that live within. We will explore the animals from within the deep ocean along with creatures that lurk inside our coastal rock pools. 

Myth Busters (3-6)

Come and explore some of the greatest myths of the ocean and coast with a real lifesaver and learn about the amazing stories and events through history that have changed the way we know and understand the shore, the ocean and the animals that live within.

For high schools we currently run our 'On Patrol Program' under which we have two separate live sessions: 'Race to the Flags' for Years 7 to 9 and 'Lifesaver for a Day' for years 10-12.

Our 'On Patrol' sessions are a virtual experience providing your students with opportunities to talk to a surf lifesaver and have lots of fun asking questions, learning how to identify hazards on our coastlines and how to stay safe at the beach.

Race to the FLAGS (Year 7-9)

In this interactive session, participants will compete against each other in groups as they learn about and explore our core FLAGS messaging through a series of games and team activities.

Lifesaver for a Day (Year 10-12)

In this interactive session, participants will engage in in-depth discussions with their peers and a lifesaver as they work in teams through a series of case studies throughout an exploration of a day in the life of a lifesaver.

 

Our virtual programs for multicultural community groups, University and TAFE students provide an engaging and interactive way for participants to learn about beach and surf safety. Upon registration, group contacts will receive fun and educational downloadable resources and activities along with digital activity links for use by participants to solidify their learning.

For community groups we currently run our Lifesaver for a Day Program. In this interactive session, participants have the opportunity to become involved in discussions as we navigate through a series of activities in a surf lifesavers day. Participants will learn about beach and coastal hazards and the ways they can ensure they stay safe while at the beach.

Lifesaver for a Day (Adult Program for low-level ELP groups)

Our low-level ELP program with modifications to suit low-level ELP audiences and inclusive of some written translations of key messages for participant languages.

Lifesaver for a Day (Adult Program in Arabic)

Our Arabic language program provided completely in spoken and written Arabic.
