We reveal the winners of the 2016 Junior Life Saver of the Year award, and meet the next generation of leaders in our movement who attended the Youth Opportunity Makers Workshop.

In the 33rd edition of SurfLIFE, we look back at another successful Beach to Bush tour which reached over 6000 students in one week, the four year study of the entire NSW coastline ‘Project Blueprint’ was presented to the NSW Government and Parliamentary friends of Surf Life Saving as well as we pay tribute to the outstanding contribution to Surf Life Saving in NSW by retired SLSNSW CEO Phil Vanny AM.

In the 34th edition of SurfLIFE, we celebrate our 10 year partnership with Stramit Building Products, lifesavers and lifeguards become UAV pilots, Surf Life Saving NSW begins to develop a new strategic plan for the future and our Community Education team have been promoting beach safety at numerous events including a workshop for Hornsby’s Chinese Community.
