2021 Surf Life Saving NSW Coastal Safety Report
In the 12 months from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021, a total of 88 lives were lost on the NSW coastline with 45 of those classified as coastal drownings. This is above the average of 42 drowning deaths annually.
Draft Surf Life Saving NSW COVID-19 Vaccination Policy – Members
The purpose of this policy is to facilitate the protection of the health and safety of members who attend and participate in front line volunteering activities at any of Surf Life Saving NSW’s (SLSNSW) facilities, activities and services (including work in public areas) by requiring all such persons to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
SLSA Policy 6.05 – Member Protection
This Policy is made under clause 39 of the SLSA Constitution. It is binding on all Members of SLSA and those listed under the section 3 of this policy and is to be interpreted in accordance with the SLSA Constitution.
