Congratulations to the outstanding members of Surf Life Saving in NSW who this year were recognised for their achievements and commitment to the movement in the King’s Birthday honours list.

The Surf Life Saving movement in NSW is sustained by the dedication and passion of volunteers – some 76,000 state-wide and many more across the country who often go above and beyond to ensure our coastlines and, more broadly, our coastal communities are welcoming, safe, and enjoyable.

Kaylah Broadhead of Nobbys SLSC and Calum Reiter of Coogee SLSC have been named the Ingenia Holiday Parks Junior Lifesavers of the Year after three days of team building and leadership development on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

In recognition of International Women’s Day on Wednesday 8 March, Bondi SBLSC has once again held its ‘Pink Patrol’ – a celebration of women in Surf Life Saving and a workshop for networking, confidence building and inclusivity.
