Northern Lifesavers Make Interbranch Mark

There was plenty to celebrate for the Far North Coast representative Surf Life Saving team as they returned from last weekend’s Interbranch Championships with the trophy for “Most Successful” Country Branch in their possession as well as a host of strong performances.

They may be two of the smaller branches in Surf Life Saving, but the teams from the Mid North Coast and Lower North Coast still had plenty to smile about at last weekend’s Interbranch Championship.

They may have been sporting unique swimwear in support of a much loved former teammate but it was there eye-catching performances in the surf and on the sand that made the Hunter athletes hard to miss at last weekend’s Interbranch Championships.


Sydnersiders Too Strong At Interbranch

In the end the battle of the Harbour Bridge came down to just a 13-point margin which was enough for Sydney Northern Beaches to claim a second straight Interbranch title at the annual Surf Life Saving Representative carnival last weekend.
