Young surf lifesavers from across the Illawarra had a weekend to remember at the 2018 NSW Age Surf Life Saving Championships held at Blacksmiths Beach last weekend, returning with an impressive haul of medals and plenty of happy memories.

With three of its clubs finishing inside the coveted top 10 in the overall point score, and an impressive haul of 96 medals it was a highly successful weekend at the 2018 NSW Surf Life Saving Age Championships for junior competitors from Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

A large contingent of Central Coast competitors made the short trek north to the 2018 NSW Age Surf Life Saving Championships at the picturesque Blacksmiths Beach returning with medals, memories and a burning desire to continue to test themselves against the very best from around the state.

Making the most of their local advantage, Hunter branch clubs and competitors put on a show of strength at the NSW Age Surf Life Saving Championships at Blacksmiths Beach.

After leading from the start, the Elouera SLSC juniors have taken out the 2018 NSW Age Surf Life Saving Championships at Swansea Belmont, breaking the eight year winning streak of the mighty Manly LSC.

On Day Two of the 2018 NSW Surf Life Saving Championships, Elouera SLSC continued its winning streak to retain the top place on the pointscore at Swansea Belmont SLSC.

There were smiles all round as Nipper competitors at Day One of the 2018 NSW Surf Life Saving Championships were crowned NSW Champions on the beach and in the water.
