The SLSNSW Advanced IRB Skills Development Program, formerly delivered as the Australian Lifesaving Boat Emergency Rescue Training (ALBERT) Program, delivers Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB) training to enhance operator skills and experience, and grow confidence. The program aims to enhance the skills and experience of lifesavers through collaborative and consistent training, utilising a mix of drill-based activities, dedicated coaching, and scenario-based training.

The program is open to patrolling lifesavers who have obtained their Silver Medallion IRB Drivers Certificate and/or IRB Crew Certificate.

22-23 March – South West Rocks SLSC

12-13 April – Maroubra SLSC
