The Coogee Island Challenge hosted by Coogee Surf Life Saving Club, is an ocean swim event at Coogee Beach held every April & November that circumnavigates Wedding Cake Island.

We have 3 swims available starting with the 800m Junior Dash (10-12yrs), the 1km or the 2.4km Island Challenge Big Swim that circumnavigates Wedding Cake Island. If you can’t choose, why not sign up for the 1 and 2.4km swims.

Or what about entering as a team with a few friends? Enter a team of 4 or more, male or female and in any of the 3 events on offer.

We have a HUGE number of prizes up for grabs – this includes CASH, wet bags, towels, caps, umbrella’s and prints. Prizes are for the 800m, 1km & 2.4km events for 1st, 2nd & 3rd placed elite category, individuals (all 12 age groups) and teams!
