Surf Life Saving Services (the commercial arm of SLSNSW) is seeking qualified Paramedics on a casual basis, specifically targeting Registered Paramedics with a minimum of 12 months’ experience. The role involves deployment to events statewide such as sporting events, government events and medical support roles such as film set medical.
Successful candidates will be instrumental in providing critical emergency care to event attendees, staff and members of the public. These events take place across Sydney and the greater Sydney Region, with opportunity for work further afield and based on demand.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality health services within your clinical scope.
- Ensure timely completion of patient care records and incident reports.
- Conduct proactive surveillance and patrols across events, with a focus on risk mitigation, safety hazard identification and escalation, and early intervention for vulnerable individuals.
- Manage communications effectively
- Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders.
Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 12 months of clinical experience as an AHPRA Registered Paramedic – preferably with an Australian state ambulance service.
- Valid and unrestricted AHPRA Registration.
- Current Working with Children Check and Criminal Record Check.
- Proven ability to establish trust and rapport quickly.
- Strong teamwork and clear, effective communication skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Commitment to delivering exemplary customer service.
