In the March edition, we thank the more than 700 volunteers who gave their time to assist in the NSW flood emergency, reflect on the 2022 Oakberry Acai NSW Country Championships, held successfully at Cape Hawke SLSC on the state’s Lower North Coast and celebrate Australian Surf Life Saving icon, Naomi Flood who became the first female to be inducted into the Sport NSW Hall of Champions.
We acknowledge the many outstanding Surf Life Saving NSW members recognised with Australia Day honours and touch on how, despite weather bringing an early end to the 2022 NSW Surf Life Saving Championships, proudly supported by Your local club, many juniors had the opportunity to show their skills. We also highlight Ingenia Holiday Parks Junior Lifesaver of the Year finalists.
