The 11-strong team of talented 16-18 year olds will compete in Auckland at the New Zealand Pool Rescue Championships from 6-10 October 2016.
This tour is a great stepping stone for younger athletes to be able to progress in the sport of Pool Rescue and Surf Life Saving. And be introduced to some of the many representative options available in the movement.
Last year’s team lead by Callum Lowe-Griffiths (Queenscliff) and Jemma Smith (Umina) successfully returned home with 27 medals from the with duo having on to be selected in the Youth Australian Life Saving Team to compete at this year’s World Championships.
Congratulations to the athletes and team management who have been selected for the tour.
