The Race Analysis Series is an opportunity to walk through surf sports finals with our champions. We'll break down the winning performances so you can pick up tips and tricks to help you improve your racing skills.
Episode 01 - Ironman
In 2019 Max Brooks of Newport SLSC took out the Australian Ironman Title at Broadbeach. It was Shannon Eckstein's final race before retirement and the crowd was behind the Queensland athlete the whole way. But Max strategically worked his way through the field to take the win.
In this episode, join Max with his coach Nick Carroll and brother Charlie, who was also in the race, to talk through tactics, techniques and what was going through the champion Ironman's head throughout the race.
EPISODE 02 - SKI
In this week's episode, newly qualified Australian Olympic Kayaker Riley Fitzsimmons sits down with his partner and champion ironwoman Georgia Miller to talk through the Australian Ski final. Riley provides some great insights and tips for young ski paddlers especially on the return to the beach.

EPISODE 05 - SURF BOATS
The 2020 NSW Open Male Champions from Batemans Bay (Michael Bellett, Wayne Coppin, Brendan Ellis, Luke Price and sweep Neil Innes) take us through their state championship final at Swansea Belmont in March. This crew has had a huge year with the bushfires dramatically impacting their lives over summer, through to winning the gold medal and bringing success and good news back to their community.

This week is your chance to learn about Board Rescue, really learn about Board Rescue. One of the most fun yet strategic races of them all broken down by two of the best. 2019 Australian Champions and Iron legends from Wanda Hayden Allum and Nathan Smith talk us through how to start, transition and finish a Board Rescue race and dish out their tips for up-and-comers and well as clarifying the rules around reaching the buoy.
