The Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

The Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) provide policy/guidelines and reference for lifesaving operations in New South Wales.

The SOPs cover a range of topics that senior patrolling members (Club Captains, Patrol Captains, Support Operations Members etc) should be familiar with such as patrolling obligations and standards, gear and equipment guidelines, patrolling operations and emergency response guidelines. The SOPs are reviewed and updated bi-annually with the most recent review being completed in 2016.

Feedback

To assist SLSNSW in reviewing the SOPs content, an online feedback web form (below) has been developed to allow members to submit comments and suggestions which SLSNSW may utilise in future reviews.

Provide feedback about the SOPs here.
