A group of highly dedicated young surf lifesavers will trade school books for surf caps when they make their way to an exciting leadership network opportunity on Sydney’s Northern Beaches from next week.

Over 7000 international students gearing up for their first year of study are set to be given a crash course in beach culture as surf lifesavers take messages of water safety directly to them in an effort to ensure their safety as they enjoy a break from the books on some of NSW’S most magnificent beaches.

A prominent partnership between Transport for NSW and Surf Life Saving NSW is successfully delivering the ‘Swim Between the Flags’ message to commuters on key bus routes and train stations around Sydney.
