It is with great sadness that we hear of the passing of Surf Life Saving NSW and Surf Life Saving Australia Life Member, Ken Murray, who passed away peacefully on Saturday 21 August.

In a true showing of selflessness, two Surf Life Saving NSW members are using their platform as finalists in the Rotary Inspirational Women Awards to turn the spotlight on the bigger picture – the organisations for which their dedication has been recognised.
Jason Armbruster thanked his training when he reflected on the events of a beautiful Ballina morning in April, events that would sequentially add up and lay the platform for him to be awarded the Surf Life Saving NSW Rescue of the Month.
