More than 50 of the state’s brightest young lifesavers will come together on the Northern Beaches in April for the Ingenia Holiday Parks Junior Lifesaver of the Year (JLOTY) Program and the Youth Opportunity Makers (YOM) Workshop – two of Surf Life Saving NSW’s flagship youth development programs.

A deserving duo of Central Coast lifesavers are the latest recipients of Surf Life Saving Australia Life Membership – just reward for their tireless efforts across many decades volunteering within their community.

Clovelly SLSC member Imogen Barham hopes to use her Youth Volunteer of the Year award as a springboard for bigger and better things in the 2021/22 season, inspired now more than ever to continue giving back to the community that has given her so much.

Surf Life Saving NSW’s Awards of Excellence this evening saw its network of volunteers celebrated in a night capped by a stunning first, with the Surf Lifesaver of the Year and Volunteer of the Year coming from the same club.
