The 2023 Sharkskin NSW Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB) Premiership rounds the bend of the half way point on 27-28 May at Bulli, as surf clubs and their associated teams continue to jostle for position in the race to de-throne Kiama Downs SLSC as champions.

Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB) racing will return to the Northern Beaches when Round 2 of the 2023 Sharkskin NSW IRB Premiership hits Queenscliff Beach this weekend.

New champions and familiar faces were crowned at North Avoca after a challenging but at times simply spectacular two days on the Central Coast paved the way for one of the great Surf Life Saving NSW Board Riding Championships.

After a thrilling return to the Surf Life Saving NSW Surf Sports schedule at the iconic Merewether Beach last year, the 2023 NSW Board Riding Championships looks set to be even bigger and better.

It will be a mini-dress rehearsal for Warilla Barrack-Point SLSC ahead of the 2024 Oakberry Acai NSW Country Championships, recently announced as returning to the South Coast for the first time in nearly a decade, when the 2023 Sharkskin NSW IRB Premiership kicks off by the mouth of Lake Illawarra on 29 April.

Over 250 athletes from Surf Life Saving and swimming clubs across the state will tussle for top honours at the NSW Pool Lifesaving Championships at the Murray Rose Aquatic & Fitness Centre in Sydney this weekend.

After nearly a decade bouncing between idyllic beaches on the NSW North Coast, the 2024 and 2025 Oakberry Acai NSW Surf Life Saving Country Championships will move to a new home – that of the defending champions, Warilla-Barrack Point SLSC.

NSW best and brightest up-and-comers have brought home a bagful of gold medals from the Australian Surf Life Saving Championships in Scarborough, Western Australia, shining a light on the tremendous future the state can look forward to with its stable of capable and competitive athletes.
