A team of eager young Nippers from across the Mid North Coast made the journey south to Lake Macquarie for the 2018 NSW Age Surf Life Saving Championships last weekend hosted by Swansea Belmont SLSC.

It was an extraordinarily successful return for junior surf lifesavers from across Sydney at the 2018 NSW Age Surf Life Saving Championships held at Blacksmiths Beach last weekend with five clubs finishing inside the coveted top 10 on the overall point score.

With three of its clubs finishing inside the coveted top 10 in the overall point score, and an impressive haul of 96 medals it was a highly successful weekend at the 2018 NSW Surf Life Saving Age Championships for junior competitors from Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

A large contingent of Central Coast competitors made the short trek north to the 2018 NSW Age Surf Life Saving Championships at the picturesque Blacksmiths Beach returning with medals, memories and a burning desire to continue to test themselves against the very best from around the state.

After leading from the start, the Elouera SLSC juniors have taken out the 2018 NSW Age Surf Life Saving Championships at Swansea Belmont, breaking the eight year winning streak of the mighty Manly LSC.

On Day Two of the 2018 NSW Surf Life Saving Championships, Elouera SLSC continued its winning streak to retain the top place on the pointscore at Swansea Belmont SLSC.
