It’s been 375 days since the NSW Surf Life Saving Interstate Team last had their hands on the sport’s most prestigious national trophy, and as the team make their final preparations for the 2017 competition there is a sense of quiet optimism in the squad.

Congratulations to the eight crews selected to represent NSW at the 2017 Surfboat Interstate Championships at Shellharbour on Friday 17 February.

The best crews from around the state are gearing up for a huge day of racing this Sunday at the 2017 Best of the Best Surf Boat Challenge.

It was a successful competition for the surfboat crews competing at the 2017 Best of the Best Surf Boat Challenge with North Cronulla SLSC taking ultimate bragging rights after finishing with 7 podium finishes in sweltering conditions last Sunday.

After NSW finished on equal points with Western Australia last season the stage is set for a fierce contest when the 2017 Interstate Surfboat Challenge gets underway at Shellharbour tomorrow.
