In the December edition, we celebrate 30 years of rural and regional surf safety with the world’s largest human flag, reflect on the success of SLSNSW’s groundbreaking rock fishing safety education initiative, and delve into the world of drone technology with a race day showcasing career pathways to our future remote pilots.
We launch the Country Championships for 2024 at Warilla-Barrack Point, congratulate our state volunteer lifesavers recognised with awards, and examine the figures and statistics from the 2022/23 Surf Life Saving season.

This Policy is made under clause 39 of the SLSA Constitution. It is binding on all Members of SLSA and is to be interpreted in accordance with the SLSA Constitution. It is a Membership directive under SLSA Regulation 4.

#BEACHTOBUSH // The second week crew of the Ingenia Beach to Bush are out on the road spreading the beach safe message to primary school kids across the state. Today Lachlan, Dannii and Adrienne started the day in Hillston, "It's a lovely town on the banks of the Lachnlan River - Dannii even took the rescue board for a lap. It's about eight hours due west of Sydney," said Lachlan who reported in whilst on the road to Naradhan for the afternoon session.

We acknowledge those who died or suffered while serving in wars, conflicts and peace operations - lest we forget.
