Circular 3739: 2022-2023 Youth Opportunity Makers Workshop

Surf Life Saving New South Wales (SLSNSW) is excited to invite nominations for the 2022/2023 Youth Opportunity Makers Workshop!

The workshop is geared towards creating greater awareness of opportunities and individual abilities in 15-17-year-old members. Branches are encouraged to use this workshop as a way of recognising members who have the potential to further develop skills by working with like-minded young members.

Circular 3738: 2022-2023 Junior Lifesaver of the Year Program and Award

Surf Life Saving NSW is seeking nominations for the 2022/2023 Junior Lifesaver of the Year Program and Award.

The Junior Lifesaver of the Year Award is a way for Clubs and Branches to recognise their U14 members’ achievements in Surf Life Saving; the contributions they have made to all levels of Surf Life Saving as well as within the community.

Circular 3734: Confirmation of Patrol Hours for Competition

Previously the SLSNSW Board determined that the patrol hours requirement for members participating is surf sports events (SLSA Policy 5.04 as amended for SLSNSW members -SLSNSW Regulation 5.c) would be reduced due to the potential impact of COVID-19 (restrictions and illness) may have on a member’s ability to complete the required patrol hours.
