Surf Life Saving NSW Brings the Beach to the Bush

In response to research that highlighted 50 percent of people rescued from the surf live more than 50km from the beach, volunteer surf lifesavers have been visiting schools in rural and remote areas of NSW for the last 26 years to educate primary school students about beach safety as a part of Surf Life Saving NSW’s iconic Beach to Bush initiative.​


Surf Lifesavers Go Bush

A team of volunteer surf lifesavers headed west in November to deliver beach safety lessons to thousands of NSW primary school students.


Hundreds Attend Migrant Beach Safety Days

Over 100 culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) community members took part in the third annual family fishing and water safety day at Cronulla and a second program at Cooks Hill SLSC on the weekend.
