Surf Life Saving NSW’s State Operations Centre (SOC) is proud to officially be connected to a statewide emergency management messaging system which allows for internal information sharing and requests for assistance between key rescue and response agencies in NSW.

NSW volunteer surf lifesavers can continue to focus on the safety of the community this summer following the announcement that Ingenia Holiday Parks has extended its support of Surf Life Saving NSW for a further two years.
We are saddened to advise of the passing of John Reeves OAM – a valued member of Cooks Hill SLSC and a Hunter Branch and Surf Life Saving NSW Life Member.
The NSW lineup is locked and loaded ahead of a refreshed Iron Series in 2025, with 10 athletes across the male and female fields ready to compete in Round 1 & 2 at Wanda in December.
NSW members and clubs have once again shone on the national stage, winning several awards at the 2024 Surf Life Saving Australia Awards of Excellence – including a Central Coast Patrol Captain earning the state an incredible third straight DHL Surf Lifesaver of the Year title.
