Drowning Decrease in Focus as Volunteer Lifesavers Return to Beaches

More than 20,000 active patrolling volunteers have returned to the beach , with the beginning of the Surf Life Saving season – marked by a symbolic raising of the red and yellow flags – officially announced at Bondi Surf Bathers Life Saving Club on Friday 23 September by the NSW Premier, Dominic Perrottet.
