Lifesaving Legend Hangs Up Cap

Beachgoers at Bilgola on Sydney’s Northern Beaches on Sunday were fortunate enough to be part of history as Australia’s oldest active lifesaver bade farewell to his patrol for the final time.

Rookie Lifesaver Lends A Hand

The job of a patrolling lifesaver is always varied as you never know what challenges can be thrown up each weekend, but at the core of everything our volunteers do is to help people with one young member recently showing how it’s done.

Vale Frank Osborne

Surf Life Saving NSW is saddened to hear of the recent passing of Life Member and Era SLSC stalwart Cecil Frank Osborne.

Help Your Club This Christmas by Stockpiling Your Containers

The State Government’s Return and Earn scheme means that from 1 December, each eligible container is redeemable for a 10 cent refund.  This is great news for surf clubs as it means all 76,000 members across the state can fundraise directly for their club without giving up a lot of time, or rattling a tin.

New Life Members Named

Surf Life Saving NSW is pleased to confirm the elevation of ten long-serving lifesavers to the exalted status of Life Membership.
