The 109th Surf Life Saving NSW Annual Report details the achievements and performance of the organisation for 2015–16 and highlights the scope of our activities. Over 74,000 members, including 21,000 active patrolling members worked together to achieve the key goals of saving lives, creating great Australians and building better communities.
For the first time this report will focus from a NSW perspective on the drowning data both from last season as well over the last ten years, and the operations and programs that SLSNSW are involved in through comprehensive case studies.
This SurfLIFE includes a look into the latest NSW Coastal Safety Report, our very successful 2014 Beach to Bush Program and an exciting new partnership with Segenhoe Stud and the Australian Turf Club which has seen an inaugural Surf Life Saving Race Day held at Royal Randwick Racecourse.
