While they didn’t knock the Newport juggernaut off its perch in the pointscore, Sydney surf athletes were all over finals day at the NSW Surf Life Saving Championships with Wanda and Elouera SLSCs claiming second and third on the podium.

While the local clubs competing at the 2019 NSW Open Surf Life Saving Championships had little chance of knocking Newport off its perch in the pointscore, there were some outstanding results for many Hunter competitors.

The 2019 NSW Surf Life Saving Championships, proudly supported by Your local club, wrapped up on Sunday after a solid three days of competition in the Opens at Swansea Belmont SLSC.

After two days of competition, Newport SLSC the current title holder, are on track for their 6^th Open win at the 2019 NSW Surf Life Saving Championships at Swansea Belmont SLSC this weekend.
