Beachgoers looking to make the most of a warm start to spring this week are being urged to take water safety seriously with volunteer surf life saving patrols still more than a fortnight away.
Bragging rights and glory were on the line last weekend as the best surfers from lifesaving clubs around NSW came together at North Narrabeen for the 2018 NSW Midford Board Riding Championships.
The 2018 Midford Board Riding Championships took place at North Narrabeen between 7 - 9 September. The state's top surfers from as far north as Cudgen Headland and down to Shoalhaven made their way to one of the most iconic surf breaks in the country in an effort to claim a 2018 state title.
